The President of the United States is holding a rally?

Is he going to make a stirring motivational speech punctuated by the raucous applause of his loyal admirers?

Will there be patriotic music?

Will he announce during this rally that he is signing health care reform into law without congressional approval?

Will there be those nice young men in matching brown outfits marching by and saluting him?

1. Yes, and he not the first to do it. So?
2.probably, he is a good speaker and its mostlikey that the audiens will be more than50% supporters. Duh.
3. Possibly, but the Partiot Center has a crappy sound system for music (I work @ Mason)
4.Since he can sign anything not sent to him by congress, um no.
5.The UPS drill team? Don't think they were invited.

Crappy state refurbished keyboard, space bar sticks and the "t" key has to be smashed to work. I appologize for the poor typing of my previous post. Corrections are:

LeFart: Yes, and there will be no tickets for anyone except party stallwarts and "Good Americans;" all cars will be monitored for "I Brake for Oil Companies" bumper stickers; all attending will have to open their shirts to bare their undershirts, lest they be wearing "Chamber of Commerce/Business Roundtablers for War" slogans...

Just like the Republicants of the 2000's.

Passing a huge health care reform bill should be a cold, calculated effort based on the merits of the bill.

Not based on the fact that the President has no other skills than being able to talk real nice.

Maybe someone can point to Fargo ND. THAT is community organizing. Men, women and children working together to save their community.

No sitting on their thumbs, waiting for Barry to ride in on his SEIU bus to save the day.

Someone can tell little Barry that what is happening in Fargo is community organizing.

Not gathering together welfare recipients to blackmail someone to get something for free.

If he could understand the difference - and articulate it - maybe he and his numbers wouldn't be in the toilet.

Oldies and conservatives: Snarky, aren't we? Republicants offer nothing, except hatred and fear. Little minds, bereftof ideas and ideals, willing to cry for theri savior and ignore the plight of others. Willing to ruin our country in the name of the free market. Asking the next generation to suffer more of their ignorance.

To those looking for answers,, keep asking questions.

To those who live in fear with their little bigoted minds, please shut up. You already screwed up the country; we don't need you anymore.

Signed,

The Kids

Enough with the stupid rallies - enough with the pretending - enough with packing an audience with supporters who are cheering.

We all know Obama can do that -

Both sides can do that. The country needs Obama to concentrate on the economy and jobs - and drop all this time and effort on a massive ego trip.

The rally is politics.
The legislation is policy.
Both are constitutive elements of a pluralistic democracy.
Chances are if you're ranting and raving against it, you're either ignorant or intolerant. Or both.
