National is tops in on-time departures

Reagan National Airport ranks as the best of Washington’s three airports for on-time departures and ranks in the top 10 nationally, the Washington Business Journal reports.

Year-to-date figures from the Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics show 81.34 percent of scheduled flights at National have departed on-time so far this year. The on-time departure rate at Dulles International Airport so far this year is 80.4 percent, ranking Dulles No. 12 among the nation’s 29 biggest airports.

Not surprising. I hate flying but love flying to and from Reagan as it is almost always on time or EARLY
