Small earthquake reported near Richmond

No injuries or damages are reported following a minor earthquake in the Richmond area.
The U.S. Geological Survey's website shows that a 2.3-magnitude earthquake struck at 12:12 a.m. Thursday.

The epicenter was 14 miles north-northwest from Short Pump and 14 miles west-northwest from Ashland in Hanover County.
