Suspicious item at Dulles Airport

By Kafia Hosh

Authorities are investigating a suspicious item at Dulles International Airport, Dr. Gridlock reports.

According to the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, a canine unit reacted to an unattended item on the east of the baggage claim level. Four baggage claim carousels and the United Airlines ticket counter, which sits above the area where the item was found, were evacuated.

The airport remains open to flights.
