Three dead in Lorton fire

One adult and two children died in a Wednesday morning fire in Lorton, authorities said.
Four others, an adult and three children, were hospitalized after the fire in the 9600 block of Hagel Circle, according to the Fairfax County Fire Department.
They were taken to Washington Hospital Center's burn center with life-threatening injuries, according to Fairfax County Fire Department spokesman Dan Schmidt.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
