Two Pr. William teachers arrested Friday
Prince William County police on Friday arrested two Stonewall Jackson High School teachers, one accused of sending lewd messages to a 16-year-old female student and the other for drug possession, The Washington Examiner reports.
William Dignan, 42, has been charged with indecent liberties by a custodian and use of a communication device to facilitate an offense with a minor. Police say Dignan, who teaches government classes, sent numerous sexual messages to the girl by phone and e-mail.
In addition, police say they found marijuana when officers searched his Gainesville home. His roommate, Nicholas Rosser, has been charged with possession of marijuana. Rosser, 31, coaches football at the school.
Dignan was being held pending a $15,000 bond. Rosser was released without having to post bail.
