Two seriously injured in Fairfax accident

Fairfax County Police say two people were seriously injured in a crash Monday night in Alexandria, WUSA 9 reports.

Police say the two people were in a vehicle that hit a utility pole near the intersection of Route 1 and Buckman Road about 11:30 p.m. They were taken to Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
