Va. 2-year-old hospitalized after accident
UPDATE
Prince William County police say a 2-year-old girl remains hospitalized after being hit by a car driven by her neighbor.
Police said a woman was backing a 2000 Honda Accord out of a parking space in the 10700 block of Primrose Court in Manassas about 3:50 p.m. Tuesday when she struck the girl. The girl was flown to an area hospital with injuries that were classified as severe.
The driver, a 44-year-old woman, remained at the scene.
Police said the investigation into the accident continues.

A 2-year-old child is hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Manassas Tuesday, ABC 7 reports.
Police said the girl was struck in the 10700 block of Primrose Court by a neighbor backing out of a parking space about 4 p.m.
The driver, a 44-year-old, stayed on the scene.
