Va. college students get Amtrak discount
Amtrak is offering discounts to college students traveling by train in Virginia.
The 15 percent discount off the regular adult fare on Northeast Regional trains is good to or from Lynchburg, Ashland, Culpeper, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Newport News, Richmond and Williamsburg.
It's valid for coach travel only through Dec. 31. Tickets must be bought by Oct. 31 and cannot be combined with other offers.
