Va. energy conference kicks off
Gov. Bob McDonnell's energy conference opened its three-day run in Richmond with hundreds of exhibitors lined up.
The conference began Tuesday with a full day devoted to "green" building, plus a workshop on community energy strategies.
The conference will hear Wednesday from Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens, as well as McDonnell and members of his administration. Exhibitors include those promoting coal, natural gas, solar and wind power.
The conference concludes on Thursday.
