Va. girl charged with trying to poison dad
A 17-year-old Woodbridge girl is accused of pouring household cleaners into a gallon of fruit punch in an attempt to poison her father, ABC 7 reports.
Prince William County police say the girl put the chemicals into the fruit punch and then put it back into the refrigerator. She's also charged with destruction of property in connection with some furniture that was stabbed.
Police say no one was injured. The teenager was arrested March 26.
