Va. Gov: Let troopers act as ICE agents

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) this week sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano asking her to allow state troopers to act as immigration and customs agents.

McDonnell must think they don't have enough to do. Can the State Police budget handle the extra duty?

I prefer law enforcement that focuses on only a narrow section of laws, releasing lawbreakers outside of those categories to offend again.
