Va. man dies after being pulled from river
A Sterling man has died after he was pulled out of the Rappahannock River in Fredericksburg.
Fredericksburg police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe says the death is a presumed drowning but the victim could have had a medical condition. The investigation is continuing.
Bledsoe says a caller reported the victim went underwater Sunday. A bystander pulled the man onto some rocks and several bystanders performed CPR.
He was taken to Mary Washington Hospital, where he was declared dead.
The victim hasn't been identified.
