Court rules for Episcopal Church
The Supreme Court of Virginia has reversed the ruling of a Fairfax judge who decided in favor of conservative Anglicans fighting the Episcopal Church for tens of millions of dollars of church land.
In announcing its decision Thursday morning, the court panel didn't yet say how it arrived at its decision. It is possible the case could be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court or go back to the Fairfax County Circuit Court.
More information will be released in the next few hours.
