Vigil set for Yeardley Love
The University of Virginia will hold a candlelight vigil Wednesday night in remembrance of Yeardley Love, the fourth year senior who was killed after a fight with fellow student George Huguely.
The vigil will be held at 8 p.m. in the Amphitheatre. UVA President John Casteen will lead the students in vigil.
Police say Huguely, of Chevy Chase, kicked through Love's bedroom door early Monday, grabbed and shook her, repeatedly slamming her head into a wall.
The two, both lacrosse players, had been romantically involved. But police say Love called it off in recent weeks.
