Hundreds of homes in Fairfax County are without water following a water main break.
The 12-inch water main burst early Thursday in the McLean area and is disrupting service to homes from Springhill Road east to the Capital Beltway and from Lewinsville Road north to Georgetown Pike.
Fairfax Water spokeswoman Jeanne Bailey tells WTOP-FM that the break is affecting a couple hundred homes.
Crews are working on repairs.
