Water main break repaired
D.C. Water and Sewer Authority have repaired an eight inch water main break in Northeast, several hours earlier than expected.
WASA spokeswoman Aleizha Batson said crews repaired an 8 inch break on Neal Street between West Virginia and Montello Avenue NE around 2 p.m. When officials first reported the break they estimated it would take 6-8 hours to repair.
"Sometimes we give a large repair window, but in this case it was easy to fix," Batson said.
