Several accidents snarl DC area commute

By Maria Glod

Several accidents have been reported around the Washington area, as the driving rain and standing water creates rough conditions for drivers.

In Maryland, three Inner Loop lanes are still blocked north of Bradley Road by an earlier accident involving a tractor trailer.

An accident on I-270 South before Falls Road is blocking one southbound lane. And an accident on I-95/Outer Loop at Annapolis Road is blocking one lane.

In Virginia, an accident on Dulles Toll Road/VA 267 near the eastbound ramp to Route 828 is blocking the east left lane. An accident at I-95 North/the Beltway at Telegraph Road is still blocking the left lane and left shoulder. An accident is blocking the north entrance ramp to I-95 North in Dale City (at mile marker 157, shortly before the Prince William Parkway).
