What is 'unscheduled telework'?

In the federal government, you arrange to work from home or at a telework center on specified days (every Mondays, every Tuesday and Thursday, etc.). Your telework days are specified in your telework arrangement with your supervisor. "Unscheduled" telework is when you are allowed to telework on a day other than that specified in your arrangement.
