Winter weather advisory for Metro region

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for much of the Metro region, including Washington D.C., southern Maryland and Northern Virginia, until 9 a.m.

An inch of snowfall is possible, with temperatures expected in the upper 20s and low 30s.
