White House unveils 2010 Easter Egg
The White House has unveiled its official 2010 Easter Egg. The eggs come in four colors – purple, pink, green, yellow – and include the stamped signatures of the President and First Lady.

But the eggs have been given a modern twist. In keeping with efforts to make the keepsake eggs environmentally friendly, all eggs have been crafted in the United States from Forest Stewardship Council-certified hardwood. The packaging the eggs come in also has been designed to minimize waste and environmental impact, the White House says.
The eggs will be given as a souvenir to all children 12 years and younger who attend the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, April 5. But anyone can view and purchase the souvenir eggs online via the National Park Foundation website.

It's nice to see the White House has it's priorities in order. People are out of work, the housing market is still shaky and the commercial real-estate market is on the verge of collapse. But hey we've picked out the egg. Obama is such a rookie it's quite embarrassing.

@askgees - God forbid the White House take an hour to uphold a 130 year tradition.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, for goodness sakes. This is a tradition that has gone on forever. Why is it that you haters have decided that President Obama isn't supposed to carry on any traditions that every other President has participated in? Guess what he is President, he will carry on with the same traditions that every other President has.
Yes, there are unemployed and homeless people. No, things aren't the way we would like them but, I have a secret for you, that didn't just happen. It was going on in the Bush administration as well along with two unfunded wars. Never stopped Bush from carrying on traditions. You all keep reaching and grasping at straws just to find anything to criticize the President. People like you seem very petty and jealous.
