Why Spike Lee is at Wizards game
Apparently the director is watching his Knicks take on the Wizards tonight.
Why?
He's the guest of owner Ted Leonsis, according to Leonsis's blog.
Leonsis's explanation:
Spike and I are friends. We share Brooklyn, filmmaking and sports in common. We are the same age as well. Spike was very generous with his time as I made my first film and I am grateful to him.

Still bringing some1 in to sit courtside with the owner and then root for the enemy seems kinda strange. Remember that old Seinfeld where Elaine gets Yankee box seats but gets kicked out for wearing an Orioles hat?

Didn't think anything either way about Spike Lee until hearing his interview at half-time with Glen Consor. Spike was either high on something(drunk)or he's a strange dude. Not alot of class acting like he did in the picture when you are invited by the owner. You've got to act like you've been there before.

I had a chance to meet Spike Lee years back and judging by his interview at halftime he is still an @$$.

Spike's record in making decent films is about as good as the Wizards in winning basketball games.
