Woman dies in rowhouse fire in NW

A woman died Monday night after being found unconscious in a burning and apparently vacant rowhouse in Northwest Washington, authorities said.
The woman, who appeared to be about 45, was found around 9 p.m. in the basement of a boarded-up rowhouse in the 900 block of Kennedy Street NW, in the Brightwood/Brightwood Park area.
