Woman struck, killed at NE bus stop

A woman was struck by a car and killed Tuesday night while standing at a bus stop in Southeast Washington.
The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Pennsylvania Avenue SE, near Southern Avenue, police said. The woman was not identified by name. Police said she appered to be in her 20s.
The police said the driver of the automobile was being questioned Tuesday night.
