Worker stabbed at NE drug store

An employee of a drug store in the H Street NE corridor was stabbed in the store Sunday evening, authorities said.

The employee's condition was not immediately known, but he was said to be on his feet and speaking after the attack. He was taken to a hospital after the incident, which occurred about 6 p.m. in a Rite Aid store near 8th Street NE.

No motive in the attack could be learned immediately.
