The house that Abe built

I appreciated all the coverage of Abe Pollin and the many tributes to his extraordinary life. Why not do the right thing and rename the downtown arena he built in his honor? Abe Pollin Arena sounds a lot better than Verizon Center.

Yes, I know it’s silly. It’s 2009, and we don’t name stadiums after people anymore. Corporate sponsors and pro teams need to milk every last dollar from naming rights.
