A $40 million crisis Metro can’t afford to waste
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Agency is struggling to close a $40 million budget gap and has asked the public to comment on two equally unappealing options: service cuts and a fare increase. A fare increase is the better solution -- if it's done right.

Real reform in Annapolis
I respectfully take exception to the dreary, predictable claim by Del. Heather Mizeur that real reform in Annapolis requires more “up to the minute access” to information about the legislative process. This confuses cause and effect. What is needed is more political courage. Without it, calls for more transparency are an empty slogan.
