What good neighbors do
By Betty Sekhri
Kensington
I want to publicly thank my wonderful neighbors who have rallied around and helped me through the blizzard of 2010. Despite the fact that they had to work all day to clean off their own cars and shovel the snow from their driveways and paths, they saw fit to help this senior citizen by offering to walk through the unplowed street to buy some groceries, and then to clean off my car and shovel a path to my front door. They epitomize what the words “good neighbors” mean.
They know who they are, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart.
