A path to citizenship -- in Canada
I read with interest Maia Werbos’s letter on the Maryland “Dream Act.”
The fact that her friend from China excelled in school in this country but became a Canadian citizen is not all bad; it is fortunate that there is a friendly and productive democracy next door that is also open to immigration. Perhaps the United States should work with Canada to create more pathways to citizenship — in the Great White North.
