Say it with me: Snow bubble

Last winter, D.C. had a Snowpocalypse. Could this winter be the winter of the snow bubble? It sure looks that way, after yet another winter storm appears to be working its way around Washington, D.C.
You'll remember that we experienced a similar bubble effect during the blizzard which crushed everywhere north and east of Washington beginning Dec. 26. The Capital Weather Gang pulled down this map from the National Weather Service showing national weather warnings at 5 p.m. yesterday. Looks familiar, doesn't it?
