Broad Run 72, Park View 59
Kevin McGaughey continued his hot streak, leading all scorers with 24 points on four three-pointers and Taylor Johnson and Ahmad Zafar finished with 12 points apiece as the Spartans (10-1) won their fourth straight. Sophomore Ryan McCarter had 17 points for the Patriots (5-4) and J.R. Shooks added 14 as Park View fell to 1-1 in the district.

Potomac Falls 65, Dominion 58
The Panthers kept rolling along after their lengthy holiday break, edging Dominion to improved to 8-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Dulles District. Lukas Mihailovich scored a game-high 27 - his fifth 20-point performance of the season - and Brendon Chesson added 12 as Potomac Falls won its fifth straight. Deandre Reaves scored 17 points and Andre Evans added 15 including 9 of 10 from the free throw line as the Titans (1-10) lost their sixth straight.

Briar Woods 61, Freedom 19
The Falcons (5-4) left no doubt in the latest installment of the battle of the birds, throttling Freedom in Brambleton behind 18 points apiece from Myles Tate and Correy Faciane. Taylor Barton scored 5 points to lead the Eagles (2-10) in their lowest scoring output of the season. Freedom managed just two points in the first quarter and has now lost five straight.

Osbourn 64, Loudoun Valley 49
Robbie Carter scored a game-high 21 points and Jay Lane added 19 points as the Eagles led by 15 at the half and held on the rest of the way. John Yoxthimer had 14 points and Kyle Kohnen finished with 13 as the Vikings (4-4) fell in their Cedar Run opener.

Battlefield 60, Heritage 36
Heritage led 17-12 after the first quarter but managed only three points in the second and dropped its third straight. Ross Alcorn scored 12 to lead the Pride (2-4) while Battlefield's Jamie Robinson led all scorers with 20.


Broad Run 59, Park View 32
Morgan Roehling led the Lady Spartans with 16 points including three three-pointers as Broad Run (6-4) improved to 2-1 in Dulles District play. Maggie Andricosky added 13 points for the Spartans. Freshman guard Chloe Owens had 8 to lead the Patriots (1-8).

No. 16 Freedom 66, Briar Woods 25
With a 35-6 run through the first two quarters, the Eagles (8-2) rolled past Briar Woods to snap a two-game skid. Dionna Scott tallied her 1000th career point and finished with 15 on the night to go along with four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Kelsey Buchanan added 15 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks and Jessica Escorza chipped in 13 points, three assists, three rebounds and three steals. The Falcons managed just two first half field goals in the loss.

Potomac Falls 54, Dominion 24
The Panthers improved to 6-2 with the victory and 3-0 in the Dulles District while Dominion fell to 0-11. Raven Short had 12 points and five rebounds to lead Potomac Falls and Symone' Berry chipped in 10 and five of her own. Imani Smith - the only Dominion player to score more than three points in the game - led the Titans with 12 points on the night. Dominion managed only four first-half points.

Loudoun Valley 43, Osbourn 35
The Vikings (5-3) were outscored 24-11 in the second and third quarters but held on for the win in their Cedar Run opener.

Heritage 32, Battlefield 24
The Pride (2-5) overcame a scoreless third quarter with 16 points in the fourth to win their Cedar Run opener.
