Leesburg Honda Holiday Tournament

Boys
Broad Run 68, Loudoun Valley 45
Kevin McGaughey and Ahmad Zafar each scored 14 points as the Spartans (7-1) knocked off the Vikings for the second time in two weeks. Broad Run raced to a 22-15 lead in the first quarter and led 35-22 at the half. McGaughey did not connect on a two-point field goal but made four threes-pointers on the night. Thirteen different Spartans got on the board. Django DeGree led the Vikings (3-2) with 12 points.

Stone Bridge 95, Dominion 79
The Bulldogs got a season-high 29 points from junior Nik Brown - his fourth 20-point performance of the season - and senior guard Richie Berry added 22 as Stone Bridge rolled past Dominion in the second game of the night. Chris Huff scored 21 points with five three-pointers to lead the Titans (1-7) and Deandre Reaves chipped in 16. The Bulldogs (4-2) dominated their opponents at the free throw line, connecting on 25 of 31 attempts while the Titans only attempted 16 free throws.

Girls
Loudoun Valley 48, Dominion 46
The Titans, looking to snap a 31-game losing streak, lead by one point heading into the fourth quarter but could not hold on as Kayla Sweet (14 points) and the Vikings (3-2) kept Dominion's frustrating streak in tact with a fourth-quarter rally. Jaimie Gutch and Stephanie Purnell both chipped in 12 for Valley and Imani Smith led the Titans (0-8) with 12.

Stone Bridge 46, Broad Run 35
Tied heading into the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs dominated the final frame, outscoring Broad Run 18-7 to claim their fifth victory of the season. Sara Stancik finished with 16 points to lead Stone Bridge (5-1). Morgan Roehling had 12 for the Spartans (4-3).

Bulldog Bash at Westfield

Girls
No. 7 Freedom 62, St. Hubert's (PA) 46
Despite falling behind early, the Eagles (6-0) continued their strong start to the season in their tournament opener at Westfield. Behind 24 points, 12 boards and five steals from senior center Kelsey Buchanan and double-figure scoring from Dionna Scott (13) and Jasmine Merritt (10), Freedom out-scored their opponents 17-6 in the second quarter and maintained control the rest of the way.

Tuesday: Freedom vs. Potomac (Va.) - 6:30

Boys
Westfield 69, Freedom 45
Zach Elcano led all scorers with 22 points as the host Bulldogs rolled over the Eagles (2-7) in the night cap of the first day of the tournament.

Pohanka Chantilly Holiday Tournament

Girls
No. 16 Loudoun County 97, Hylton 31
Alissa Kain scored a season-high 27 points and Brittany Batts added 21 as the Raiders cruised into the second round with a blowout victory over Hylton. Kendra Holmes nearly notched a triple-double with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 blocks and Casey Cummings chipped in 9 points and 11 boards as County improved to 6-1 on the season. Sylvia James had 15 points to lead the Bulldogs who trailed 33-0 after the first quarter of play.

Tuesday: Loudoun County vs. Edison - 7:30
