A Few Volleyball Results

Potomac Falls def. Park View 26-24 25-17 25-21

The Panthers blanked Park View last night in the Dulles District opener for both schools. Despite the youth and inexperience of a roster that features only three seniors, the Panthers have made strides in the early going and could be a factor in the district race behind Loudoun County.

Panther stats:
Nicole Fautuex - 9 kills 13 assists, 5aces with 7 points and 9 digs
Keeley Dugan - 4 kills
Eileen Fauteux - 8 assists, 4 aces with 5 points and 8 digs
Kayla Motheral - 3 kills, 2 blocks, 3 aces with 5 points.
Kayla Carlton - 3 kills, 1 block, 13 digs, 2 aces with 3 points.
Alexa Campbell - 14 digs, 1 kill, 3 aces with 9 points.
Patricia Mook - 6 blocks (3 solo), 1 kill
Devan Baxley - 2 kills, 3 aces with 11 points and 8 digs.
Megan Bahr - 1 kill
Harly Marrocco - 2 digs

Stone Bridge def. Herndon 25-20, 25-10, 26-24

The Bulldogs improved to 4-1 on the season with an impressive victory over a contender in the Concorde District - arguably the most competitive in the Northern Region. Their only loss so far came to defending AA state champion Loudoun County in the the final of Sherando's Surebet Tournament.

Bulldog stats:
Christine Beckham - 11 kills, 7 digs, 6 pts, 2 aces
