Volleyball: Broad Run beats County to take Dulles tournament title

In their third meeting over a 10-day span, Broad Run bounced back from consecutive four-set losses to co-Dulles District champions Loudoun County to win the district tournament title in four, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-15. The win marked the first time in four years that the Raiders were not awarded the privilege of hoisting the tournament trophy. And to top it off, the Spartans did it on the Raiders' home floor.

Both teams return to action in the AA Region II playoffs Tuesday as the Raiders host Millbrook while Broad Run travels to Sherando. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m.

The Lady Raiders were led by:
Juliane Hanna 19 kills, 8 digs, 5 points, 3 aces, 2 assists
