In case you missed it, here's my game story from the 27-14 loss at Pittsburgh. Navy will face Minnesota in 2019 and 2020. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review takes a look at Navy sprint football.

RE: Navy's upcoming opponent, Western Kentucky (0-3)

Western Kentucky lost, 28-7, to Division I-AA Central Arkansas on Saturday. "This edition of a Western Kentucky loss featured no positives. No bright spots. No silver linings," writes the Bowling Green Daily News. "There was nothing close about this one." Western Kentucky football blog from the Bowling Green Daily News.

RE: Air Force (2-1) and Army (2-1)

Air Force dominated an inept New Mexico team, 37-13. But the Falcons lost starting quarterback Tim Jefferson to an ankle injury. Coach Troy Calhoun told reporters that the sophomore could be sidelined "three days or it may be three weeks." Sophomore Connor Dietz will get the call if Jefferson can't play against San Diego State.

Army's defense shined in its 24-17 win over Ball State.
