Navy vs. BCS schools
This comes courtesy of Navy's sports information department:
The Midshipmen's 13-10 victory over Wake Forest on Saturday was their 14th win since 2008 against a team that's part of the BCS. That ties Utah for the most wins by a non-BCS school against BCS schools over the past seven seasons. The full list:
14 - Navy, Utah
12 - TCU
9 - Fresno State
8 - BYU, Hawaii
6- East Carolina, Houston
5- Toledo
4 - Bowling Green, New Mexico, Boise State, Northern Illinois
Since 2003, Navy is 14-19 against BCS competition; under Coach Ken Niumatalolo, the Midshipmen are 3-6. Their victories came against Wake Forest ('08, '09), Rutgers ('04, '08), Notre Dame ('07), Pittsburgh ('07), Duke ('04, '05, '06, '07), Connecticut ('06), Stanford ('06), and Vanderbilt ('03, '04).
The Midshipmen are 43-8 against non-BCS competition during the same span. (Niumatalolo is 11-1 11-2 against non-BCS teams.)
