Game MVPs: Notre Dame

Offense: QB Ricky Dobbs (rushed for 102 yards and one TD, passed for 56 yards and one TD); FB Vince Murray (158 yards rushing and one TD, became first Navy RB to rush for 100+ yards in four straight games since Napoleon McCallum in 1983); G-C Curtis Bass (part of an interior line that helped Navy rush for 348 yards).

Special mention: WR Greg Jones (caught a 52-yard TD pass, just the fourth catch of his career).

Defense: CB Kevin Edwards (five tackles and forced a goal-line fumble with a hard hit on QB Jimmy Clausen); OLB Ram Vela (nine tackles, two QB hurries, one interception, one fumble recovery).

Special mention: OLB Craig Schaefer (nine tackles, including one sack that resulted in a safety); S Wyatt Middleton (eight tackles, one fumble recovery).

Special teams: P Kyle Delahooke (averaged 46.2 yards per punt, and booted a 55-yard punt that was downed at the Notre Dame 13-yard line in the final two minutes).

Special mention: SB Aaron Santiago; NG Jared Marks.
