Gene Wang writes today about the Navy offense suddenly coming alive in the win against Louisiana Tech. Coach Ken Niumatalolo said it wasn't "rocket science," that the difference was simply finishing drives.

Meanwhile, in another reminder that a Midshipman's sacrifice is anything but trivial, PostLocal reports that Brendan Looney, 29, was killed in a helicopter crash while serving in Afghanistan. Looney played both football and lacrosse at the academy.
