Nick Johnson Update, II

So GM Jim Bowden just dropped by, said he had joked with Nick Johnson in the trainer's room about his prediction of a June return, and said that Johnson's opinion wasn't based on any medical evidence provided by the club.

So ... take out of it what you will. Team doctor Ben Shaffer will look at X-rays on Monday, and the club may have a better idea then.

All this just guarantees that Johnson's recovery will be something we'll watch very closely down here.
