Simontacchi sizzles
This is it for play-by-play.
Simontacchi, who has a very good changeup, just got Robert Fick, Darnell McDonald and Chris Snelling on either fly outs or pop-ups. That was six up, six down for Simontacchi, who is a serious contender for the rotation.
(Caveat: None of this counts, to be sure. But in a camp in which every little thing is being evaluated, it doesn't hurt.)
