Lineups -- but only if you don't stop discussing your interest level

Seriously. You are not allowed to read the following lineups unless you're willing to post a comment (under the previous post, please) about whether the Nationals can hold your interest all summer.

Before the lineups, minor news: Ronnie Belliard, who two days ago Manny Acta said would likely stay low in the order because he's never been a "top-of-the-order guy," is predictably hitting second tonight. And as Chris Needham over at Capitol Punishment pointed out, Acta's assessment wasn't exactly on target. In his career, Belliard has 1,258 at-bats in the leadoff spot, 702 in the No. 2 spot. Only 408 of those at-bats, however, have come since the end of the 2003 season.

Acta's explanation: "He's hot." Good enough for me.

Lopez -- 6
Belliard -- 4
Zimmerman -- 5
Young -- 3
Kearns -- 9
Church -- 8
Schneider -- 2
Snelling -- 7
Bergmann -- 1

Johnson -- 4
Renteria -- 6
C. Jones -- 5
A. Jones -- 8
McCann -- 2
Francoeur -- 9
Thorman -- 3
Langerhans -- 7
Smoltz -- 1

Oh, and to the people who listened to Kornheiser on Wash Post Radio this morning, that was my editor, Tracee Hamilton, who was kind enough to speak nicely about me. So, of course, shout outs from the Journal back to the home office at 15th and L, where all this stuff comes together. They even still let Mr. Tony into the building. He has his own ID. I can't say the same for Feinstein.

(Interest posts below. We're trying to reach 100.)
