Two hours in: Who do you side with?
We're now more than two hours into this. Rep. Paul E. Kanjorski (R-Pa.) just questioned Charles Scheeler, the member of George Mitchell's investigative team, about the credibility of the disputed party at Jose Canseco's house in Tampa. Thus, it would appear that everyone -- Clemens, McNamee, and the Mitchell Report -- have now been under attack.
Rep. John Mica (R-Fla.) is now questioning both McNamee and Clemens, primarily about B12 use. He just asked Clemens if McNamee could have gauze with Clemens's blood on it. "Absolutely," Clemens said. Clemens is testifying that McNamee could have such gauze because of McNamee's injection of B12 into Clemens.
"Brian McNamee has never given me growth hormone or steroids," Clemens just said.
McNamee reiterated that he never injected Clemens with B12.
Rep. Carolyn Maloney (R-NY) just said, "as a New Yorker," that she thanked Clemens for all his efforts in New York. She smiled.
Let's take an unscientific poll:
