Manny Acta: "Go Caps!"

President Bush? Come on. Tonight, defenseman Mike Green and goalie Cristobal Huet will be here to toss out the first pitch. (I think Green gets the honors.)

Manny Acta did not exactly grow up playing on the frozen ponds of Consuelo in the Dominican Republic. But that doesn't mean he's not a supporter.

"I'm excited for the Caps," he said. "I was following it big-time. I met Coach Boudreau when I came over here during the offseason, and I was following big-time because I knew what the odds were and I was very happy for them to go in. I mean, hey, Go Caps, baby!"

Dmitri Young is also due to be presented with his NL Comeback Player of the Year award tonight. Ryan Zimmerman, for some reason, will do the presenting.

Early read: A small, small crowd will take in the Nationals' second game at Nationals Park.
