Lineups from Nationals Park
Garrett Mock makes his major league debut today. And his first major league experience won't last long, as GM Jim Bowden explained:
"I don't want any pressure out there for him. I [told him], 'It's your first major league start, no pressure at all. You pitch well, you pitch poorly, we're going to option you out. We're going to bring up Clippard tomorrow. So, go out there, have fun, and do what you've been doing in Class AAA.'"
Today, Mock opposes Barry Zito, who's doing nothing that he did in Oakland.
Here are the lineups. (One other note: Dmitri Young thought he was starting to feel better yesterday. Turns out he's still sick. That's why you're still not seeing him in the lineup.)
