The lineups, and a meeting (if it helps)

* The Nationals delayed batting practice some 15 minutes today for a 35-minute, closed-door meeting in their clubhouse. This could be one of those message-senders that tend to come around during stretches of horrid baseball. We haven't yet had a chance to talk with any of the involved parties, but more info will follow once I learn more about what was said.

* Shawn Hill is off to Minnesota. There's no word yet, though, on his status or his replacement. (Probably Mock or Clippard, though.)

* Austin Kearns will start a rehab assignment tomorrow, and he'll likely rejoin the team in time for the Cincinnati series late next week.

* Paul Lo Duca, who left the team yesterday and headed to the hospital, is back in the clubhouse today and available. His text message sent yesterday night to Manny Acta asking to start today, though, was ignored.
