Who's Coming
Based on the lineup posted below, you'll understand the importance of these updates. At least the first two.
* Lastings Milledge, out since June 28 because of a groin injury, will begin his rehab assignment tomorrow when he joins the Nats' rookie ball affiliate in the Gulf Coast League. Already, according to Manny Acta, Milledge has been running and taking swings -- yes, those good ol' "baseball activities." So he's ready for his next test.
* So far at Columbus, 3B Ryan Zimmerman is 2-for-7 with one double and one RBI. All told, he's 5-for-17 during the rehab assignment. My guess: He'll be in uniform with Washington when the series against San Fran begins Tuesday.
* Wily Mo Pena is going to have his shoulder surgery on Tuesday. The usual suspect, Dr. Tim Kremchek, gets the nod.
