Team photo, with some new faces

Just a few pregame snapshots, since everything looks white and fresh.

At 3 p.m. here at Nats Park, stadium workers hauled a few metal bleachers atop the second base area of the infield. The entire team -- the entire new team -- dressed in its home whites, filled up the rows, smiling, posing for a few minutes. Yeah, those are your 2008 Washington Nationals. Pictured, among others: No. 6, Emilio Bonifacio; No. 12, Alberto Gonzalez.

A few minutes later, both were out in the infield taking grounders. We don't have the lineups yet, but I presume those are your starting middle infielders for tonight.

I'll post news once the forthcoming roster move (necessary to clear space for Bonifacio) once I have word.

Right now, the Nats have 12 pitchers, two catchers, seven infielders and five outfielders. Something's gotta drop that total to 25.
