Military Representatives To Throw First Pitch(es)
There's no Obama. For the first pitch today -- it's scheduled for 2:57 p.m. -- the Nats will have representatives of the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Coast Guard each throw a ball.

So wait, the game goes on when an opposing team announcer dies in the visiting announcers box? I don't get it.....

Kasten's arrogance is pretty hilarious.

He can go to a Wizard's game and shuck and jive with the black people sitting around him but he can't show respect to the national pastime. What a disgrace.

I thought the Obamas wanted to really be a part of the DC neighborhood, getting involved in District activities. Geez, he could have just shown up, thrown out the first ball and gone home if being associated with the Nats isn't cool enough for him.

Actually having members of the military throw out the first ball is a nice thing to do.
Shame the Lerners aren't always as decent. If they were they might find that they can sell out the stadium on opening day.
