Washington Natinals
There's no space for sartorial comments in the box score, but that doesn't mean you can't get charged with an error. Or several. At least two players today -- and it could be more... I'll keep my eyes open -- are wearing jerseys with a misspelling across the chest. Ryan Zimmerman and Adam Dunn both have jerseys that say, "NATINALS."
Oops. No "O." Yes yes, tap in jokes galore. Have at 'em.
On a normal Nationals jersey, the "O" is the first letter on the left side of the jersey.
As for the game? It's 0-0 here in the top of the fourth. John Lannan, super-sharp, has struck out four in a row and six overall.

Is anyone else having problems with Gameday Audio? Bob Carpenter is getting old and I really want Charlie and Dave...

Manny only gets tossed when Lannan pitches.
As for the Natinals, I guess JayBeee dressed them tonight.
And really, when your statues have five arms what's the big deal about one missing letter?

@BGin:
Lost the feed (for both teams) right after Acta apparently got tossed - just got it back. 1-0 Marlins, bottom of the 4th.

Dunn's gotten rid of an O. Just needs to get rid of the K's now.

I am also having trouble w/the Gameday Audio. It has gone at at least once in each of the last several games.

Nice try on the spin by Carpenter on the jerseys: "Dunn just had it tucked in a little."
Riiight.

Nothing more frustrating than missing the big O.

I think it's perfect! Half the team used to play for CincinNATI. They are the 'Nati-nals!

More joke fodder for a team that doesn't need that much help in making a joke out of itself.

There are too many "O's" fans still in DC. This is our way of getting rid of them and their sully'ing of our National Anthem.
No "O's!" Go Natinals!

Speaking of Carpenter... Anyone else besides me tiring of hearing him whine about the umpiring?
Both Carpenter and Dibble are spending way too much time talking about poor umpiring and inconsistent calls.
There is nothing worse than a loser complaining about the umpiring particularly when it doesn't really matter who is calling balls and strikes with this Nats team.
The outcome won't change.

So, if someone were to button their jersey with the "O" folded in, buttons going through what is normally the front of the placket, what would the jersey look like. I think you all got snoockered by a joke started by Dunn??? Zim??? som eother joker in the locker room???

Well, what do you expect from a city that thinks "niggardly" is a racial slur?
...Just another reason to hate D.C.

Wow...Manny Acta got tossed. Has that ever happened before?
