Chico:

Repeating my query from last night, please confirm Dibble's statement that the Nats have not taken fielding practice during this road trip and only once during the last home stand. If this is true, I would like to hear Acta's explaination during his post game press conference.

Nice try PB69....Chico does not ask these they of questions....he is afread of Acta poining out we all know nothing about baseball.

According the Acta hitting some soft ground balls between BP pitches with infielders not even making a throw is all this team needs to play the type of defense they have for the last two years.

This is Acta's last game amyway.

Acta should have been let go after last season, but Lerner is cheaper than Acta is bad, so I don't see why Manny is any more likely to be canned today than yesterday, last week, or last month.

Based on the lack of posts here, I wonder if there are 1,000 Nats fans watching the game this sunny Sunday afternoon.

If there is any degree of difficulty, the Nats just dont make the play in field. Bard dropped the ball at a play at the plate, hernandez cant turn the double play and kearns falls down trying (key word trying) to make a nice catch in CF. Playing kearns in CF is proof that bowden clearly mismanaged his GM responsibilities. JimBo loved to talk about 5 tool outfielder yet, we cant field a major league outfield.

In the MASN pregame today, they mentioned that the Nats took infield in Philly this morning. Cut to footage of Acta saying they have been taking infield all season at home, and will now start taking it more often on the road. Who ya gonna believe, Dibble or Acta himself?
